POSITION
The Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods (DEMM) is seeking candidates for a tenure track position of Senior Assistant Professor in Economics (SECS-P/01 Economia Politica). Starting overall gross salary: approximately € 63,600 per year. Remuneration consists of a basic salary of €43,600 and a research fellowship of €20,000 per year financed by Fondazione Pesenti for the three years of tenure track.
Candidates (of any nationality) who have been resident outside Italy for the last 2 years benefit from a six-year tax exemption on 90 per cent of the salary (which can be extended up to 13 years).
Tenure as Associate Professor will be granted after 3 years, subject to a satisfactory performance and to holding the Italian National Qualification as Associate Professor.
Teaching load: 60 hours (per year) of lectures/seminars. Starting date to be mutually agreed, during academic year 2021/2022.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for candidates with a strong research record in any area of Economics. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their CVs, publications, and interviews. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in economics, econometrics or related disciplines and must have at least three years of post-doctoral research experience, or hold the Italian National Qualification as Associate Professor.
